Jim Holder has worked in the counseling field for more than 45 years, primarily specializing in addictions treatment. In addition to a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling, he has received hundreds of hours of training in family counseling, Adlerian psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming from such trainers as Virginia Satir, John Grinder, Gregory Bateson, and Harold Mosak. Jim has led Multiple Family Therapy Groups and he participated in a 90 minute interview with Lewis Foster on Perceptual Adjustment Therapy and Its Use in Multiple Family Group Therapy in 1994.
